Her Story

A Life Well Lived

Adwoa Serwaa Mensah was born in Kumasi on a bright April morning in 1948. A devoted teacher for over four decades, she shaped thousands of young minds with patience, laughter and an unshakeable belief in every child she met.

She found joy in the smallest things — the first rain of the season, a well-kept garden, the sound of her grandchildren's feet running down the hallway. She gave generously, loved fiercely, and never let anyone leave her home hungry.

She is survived by her four children, eleven grandchildren, and a community that called her "Maa". Her memory will remain a quiet, steady flame in all who knew her.
